Old Riverside Foundation is a certified 501(c)(3) non-profit civic organization incorporated July 25, 1979. We are dedicated to the recognition, appreciation, and preservation of the built environment (buildings, feats of engineering, parks, avenues, landscaping features, and archaeological remains) throughout Riverside and the Inland Empire.

We encourage the conservation of historic homes and neighborhoods, advocate to local government for historic preservation, and educate homeowners and building trades on standards and practices for the preservation and maintenance of heritage structures.

In addition to our ongoing Salvage Saturday events and our flagship annual Vintage Home Tour, we host meetings, seminars, workshops, walking tours, and more. Our Restoration & Assistance Grants help maintain historic properties, while our annual Preservation Awards recognize and celebrate outstanding efforts by the community. As caretakers of the landmark Peter J. Weber House since 1990, we also practice hands-on preservation of the house and the legacy of its architect.
